Leveling up

Wrong. The skills that you pick as major/minor skills increase your level. Attributes have nothing to do with it. And you're exactly right, increasing the misc skills doesn't have any effect other than increasing the results of using the skill.

I'm surprised no on esaid this but improving your misc. skills does effect something else besides how good your at at that skill. Lets say you get 8 levels in your spear skill(misc.) and then you gte a level up. Because you got leveled in the spear skill you get multipliers to enduarnce because you increased spear which governings attribute is endurance.(at least i think so)

When you gain a skill level you gain multipliers to the governing atribute. The multiplier is equal to half the skills gained of the governing atribute devided by two with a max of x5. Only the skill levels gained of you primary or secondary skills count toward leveling.

Grr... This annoys me. All this does is make it so there is a maximum (eventually) level for everyone, decided by how high your starting Prim- and Secondary skills are. After you max those, increasing Misc skills should count toward levels. But no. Redguard Heavily Armored Long-swordsmen only get to be 30 sumthin. Grr again. Grr... :veryangry:

AFAIK whatever your choices you will reach somewhere between level 72 and 77. To be honest, this should be high enough to complete the game and expansions. There are ways to increase this, read all the improving books after you have maxed out all major/minor skills at 100. Each will still count 1 towards increasing you a level. If you go to prison and lose stats you can regain them. I believe equipping the sword fury probably has the same effect but I have not tried it. Then ultimately with a combination of a fortify skill artifect and a master trainer you can train up to any level you choose. Some say this is a bug. Perhaps, but it is an optional way to use up the vast amounts of money acquired during the game.

SO lemme get thies straight- There's a max level limit in MW? :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

Anyway, considering the expandibility options of morrowind, couldn't you just use the consturction set or something to modify that so that there isn't a level cap?
