Dwemer Gatling Gun

I sort of like this idea, I mean after all nobody is forced to download anything if they do not like the idea of guns in Skyrim.

 

If such a thing was created you could possibly use Dwemer artifacts and gyros to upgrade or create one with the forge.

I disagree but to each their own.

 

 

If the dwemer could construct massive centurion guardians why not a weapon in this style? It could be made out to use steam power while sticking to the dwemer aesthetic.

 

 

The thing is the dwemer never made guns, otherwise their robots would use em. They used cross-bows. Plus magic sorta renders guns useless in tes. Why shoot a gun when you can shoot a giant fireball to incinerate them? But thats just my opinion, I dont like guns in tes.

 

Are you serious?? If the dwemer are all using massive incinerating firebals why the hell would they use poison darts for traps :confused: . Please dont presume anything about the dwemer, they are so undeveloped in skyrim you really dont know for sure that they didnt use guns somewhere.What would be cool is a gattling dart gun

 

Maybe because they are one of the cruelest races in the setting? Besides its most likely because advanced stuff like guns wouldn't be used for traps and stuff.

 

Anyway, I think that it should be a sort of rapid fire lightning gun. It would combine the magical and the technological aspect that the Dwemer have.

Right so my original suggestion, although poison darts are lame. A bit more creativity is needed to get the idea right.

 

Instead of poison darts you could have this - A customised dwemer backpack (or alternative), the player would now actively seek dwemer scraps/gears etc. to forge ammo at...forges to make new dwemer bullets/shells.

 

Example: 1 dwemer scrap metal = 10 dwemer bullets craftable at the forge, and different dwemer scraps could generate different ammo amounts.

 

The projectile could be easily constructed using a simple mesh and texture, and the most realistically physical impact that springs to mind would involve a stagger chance of 20-30% with optional upgrade ability.

 

Like I said though it would take a talented an seasoned modder and doubt this idea will come to fruition, at least until the CK comes out.

I actualy woud like to see a few good gun mod in skyrim but mostly flintlock rifles and stuff not a m14 or uzis but my point is:

 

As a player ho whant to hawe fun or screw around in the game for his/her amusment:OH HELL YE I coud do a lot of damage and totaly dominate the dragons and etc.

But as a player ho like the role:well thet woud be totaly out the picture and woudn't make sense.

 

But here is the big point what makse mods cool:

if I don't whant to shoot wiht a minigun in this game then I don't downloade thet mod (actualy I woud like to youse it for some funn :D )

but if I whant to youse it I downloade it.

 

This is why I don't get it thet when a moder come up wiht a idea to do something which isn't fit in the "lore" of the game they start the troll fight thet omg no thet woud be so lame ther role this the role thet bla bla bla. Seriously DON'T discurage somebody for doing something which he/she think it's funn to hawe in the game and whant to share it. And agan this is the beauty of the mods if you whant to youse it you youse it if don't then you don't youse it nothing is forced on you.

i made a dwemer rocket launcher

here:

sky rim forge -dot- com /mods/caos-tools-trade-new-spells/

(wtf they never spammed me) delete the space and change -dot- to .

...

trying to make a machine gun, i have basic workings of it..

as the spell "razor assault" on that mod. ... shoots darts fast, now just need the gun model, which, iam not a modeller.

Ya know this isnt hard to do at all. if i model a gattling gun, then animate to turn constantly.import it into ck as a staff (like the ones which shoot a constant stream of fire) and write a script to make it shoot forged darts or so as i fire it will look good already. im already implementing the idea into my own mod. it seems like many people have an idea of games that importing in your animation is hard, but in reality its extremley easy.

I spent hours in oblivion making animated shields, chainsaw swords etc

some of the ideas like this are just springs of oil waiting to be tapped, its a shame theres no animated weapons in the game

yeah i used the flames spell to shoot darts ... change the projectile it references.

i made it a spell razor assault because i didnt have a gun model.

i need to find the right sound effects, and different bullet model would be nice.

there is a smoke stream on the darts, i think it looks cool, but would be better some other type of trail...

has a cool tracer fire look to it. felt sweet to spray a dragon with, like i have a AA machinegun lol. two handing it. or two uzis haha

the rate of fire sucks, i havent taken the time to mess with rate of fire yet.

They could use Arrows.. 3 Barreled Chaingun look with a Belt of Arrows... fireing 3 arrows every 2.10 seconds? iron stell etc... i mean there are events in real life in the middle ages they did have a tool like this... A chaingun look powered by a lever? turn the handle it loads in an arow and fires 1 crank fores 1 arrow at a time? So.. thats how i would think of this working.. a Arrow fireing Chaingun..
