Turkeymoo
When I run TES CS and load the data files, all of the windows work except the render window, it's alway GRAY. :veryangry: :angry2: :ranting:
Geonox
you have a cell check if you see a list of names starting with ashlanders region I thought....double click on a cell and it will appear in the render screen, check for wilderness cells if you don't want to affect the normal morrowind landscape.... Serrieth
The Render window has not cells loaded in the window, to show an exterior or interior cell just double click on the cell names in the window under the render window. have anymore questions just ask Serrieth < thats me :P
ohGr
i actually get this at times as well, and yes, with a cell loaded, i dont know why it happens, but all i do is close the TESCS and load it up again, then everythings fine...it could be the positioning too, you know, the xyz axis, it all depends on where you are, take note, that i did not mean objects with the zyx axis
Turkeymoo
I do double click and it still turns up gray (do you think I'm stupid?) I tried stopping it and reloading it and it's still gray. Do you think it's my graphics card?
cmac
It might be your graphics card, but, more lekely, it is your drivers. Update your OS drivers and your display and graphics drivers. This is also the case when your character does not turn up in the ingame menu- you need the driver update so the game can integrate the textures into the display. Turkeymoo
Well, I AM running on an NVIDIA TNT2 Ultra . That probably IS the problem come to think of it...
ThetaOrionis01
Don't update your drivers - the TNT2 has the opposite problem. The newer nvidia drivers cause some incompatibility problem in the CS. Download a much older driver from the nvidia archive, and install that. Try the 30.83 or the 40.71 if you are running 98 - I don't know which one would work for XP or 2000, so I guess you'll just have to experiment.
