Nah I'm JK, i know request's don't go here! I actually had a question.

I am entirely new to modding and am lost in a lot of areas, however, i have never used a CK for any past game. For anyone who has experience with it i ask you this: Is it complex? How hard is it to use the CK?

i only have experience with the oblivion ck. for that particular tool, there is a wiki available that explains the basics, dungeon making, questmaking and a bit of scripting. it isn't super easy, but as long as you follow the instructions... i mean, its following instructions, its only hard if you start daydreaming through a paragraph. The basics arent so hard, it does get harder when you want to do more dynamic things with the game. it's kinda like everything, if you want to get to fine tuning you gotta make the effort and dig deep. peace.

I have been playing around with various toolsets, mostly the aurora toolset for nwn and nwn2, been using that since nwn's launch, mostly creation and action scripting. and a lot of others including map makers for various games, it all comes down to how interested you are in learning and thus how difficult it is becomes completely subjective.

If it's anything like previous CS systems, creation of dungeons and interior cells is very easy. Easy enough to figure out yourself with only a few minutes of playing around. Making quests, scripting, landscaping and such are a little more complex, but not particularly difficult. In fact, i've always found it to be easier to use than many RTS editors.

Having used a few engines over the years, it's noob friendlyness and ease of use is probably one of it's best features. It's not been all that complex to use imo. I used old things like the SDK for JKA and mod tools for KOTOR around the time of MW, and the MW CS was kinda like easy mode
