XPurplePandaX
So I decided to redownload skyrim after not playing it for over a year. I went and started installing mods. Everything worked fine for a while but then once I started installing mods like prettyface and the unp body they didnt have an esp in the plugins or anywhere for the matter. Whenever I would reopen nmm certain mods would be disabled while others would be active. It has been the same ones and they dont work regardless if I reinstall them or not. However I noticed that is only these mods so far. I installed climates of tamriel and it was not disabled like the other disabled ones. Anyone have a fix for this? Edit: also certain mods are enabled but aren't working for example ks hairdos is just giving my character a bald head, cbbe has no effect doesnt even show a .esp in plugins, verdant has done nothing, climates of tamriel has done nothing. Kroekr
Body types (CBBE, UNP, etc) do not have an esp, they are only mesh and texture replacers. When you did your reinstall, did you put NMM in your Program Files folder? If so, it is causing UAC issues preventing things from working properly. Is NMM on the same hard drive as Steam? It has to be if you want to mod.

Well if I can't find a fix here would it hurt to try with mod organizer or manually installing mods?

gromulos
if mods are being turned off then most likely it's because you never turned off Steams Cloud option EVERY single time you change something in your games setup Steams Cloud will change it back lol If you ask me, Steam has given us a sneak peak of what hell will be like for gamers lol  BTW, Steams Cloud has a nasty side to it also, anything you delete that uses Steam, will automatically be undeleted, this includes game saves, INI's and so on Edited March 24, 2017 by gromulos
