CaarosKingOfChaos
As the title says, I want to know how to launch F4SE through NMM. I tried to find out myself, but the only solution I could find locks up my NMM until I rescan Fallout 4, because it ends up thinking the game doesn't exist. I have the most up-to-date version of NMM, so if someone could help me, that would be great.
Kodiak412
I do not use F4SE so others will be better able to help you. However doesn't F4SE have its own launcher that you need to use to activate F4SE. I always thought that if you use the script extender you would need to launch the game from there. Good luck. snapper69
I always launch the game via an F4SE shortcut on my desktop, it definitely works and all the mods work.
CaarosKingOfChaos
I know the script extender versions of Bethesda's other games can be launched through NMM, and knowing how I am, I'm likely to accidentally launch regular FO4 through NMM as opposed to F4SE on a consistent basis. Moksha8088
In the very top left corner, there will be the game launcher. You have three choices: 1. Launch Fallout4 2. Launch F4SE 3. Launch Custom Fallout4 Choose Launch F4SE. Make sure you use NMM to point to the location of F4SE, as well as the other programs that it can launch. Fonger
then it is not detecting F4SE in your directory check and double check that you have installed it according to directions

HomerDOHSimpson
>>>> edit 2: wow - nvm - i had to restart steam (???) - works now For some reason i have this problem too - i wanted to create a fresh F4 install and suddenly, even the "normal" launch via the loader doesn't work anymore. I did a verify cache through steam before that - any new files by Bethesda that prevent it from loading? edit: to specify - it DOES show "launch f4se" but nothing happens Edited March 28, 2017 by HomerDOHSimpson
