If there were a war of the races

Imagine if all of the races in on Tamriel were to muster armies of their own and wage war on the other races, who would win? Ill tell ya who I think would, those crazy drunken Nords thats who! I dont care who you are when the average Nord commoner has a strength of 50 thats a pretty scary, so they arent the best with magika, but they arent completely inept in its use, so tell every one who you think would conquer Tamriel!

I've voted for the Dunmer, because I think they are some sort of allrounders. Magic can be very usefull during battles, it can protect you from dangerous spells and you can cast shields. And if magic is combined with strength and weapon skills, it can be (with the right combination) very deadly.

 

But in the end all the characters can develop the same skills if they want to, so it really doesn't matter. I've a Breton with it's long sword skill at 100 as well as its medium armor.

Actually, I think the Nords would lose. They are good fighters in large brawls, but they have no subtelty. The Dunmer are a good choice, for their broad range of war skills, but I think the Altmer would win. Although weak in general battle, they are stronger in arcane warfare, and would incinerate the first blundering moron to step over the wrong line.

 

Maybe a combination of Orcs, for brute strength, and magical reinforcement from Altmer would win the most battles. With magic shields protecting the warriors, the mages could blast away with long range missile attacks the stronger parts of the opponent's force.

I think the high elves would win, they have great mages and they have one of the best smiths in whole tamriel. And they are smart with plans and their house is the biggest of them all.

I am speaking of telvanni ya know, have you not seen that 90% of everyone in the great house is high elves. And they are all mages and mages are pretty strong, but as you probably think it depends but yes they are strong. And I ment no more with that.

There already has been... Think of Talos's conquest of Tamriel. If you mean the continents besides Tamriel, then there are many more races that could possibly enter the fray and take over -- any combined force from Akavir could easily win such a war, but there could possibly be even more races that could completely dominate everyone else beyond the known continents.

 

However, assuming that the conflict would be limited to Tamriel and the eight familiar races of Morrowind, and that every race is distinct and equal in population, Orcs could win by sheer force despite their inadequate supplies, high population density, and lack of proper established ports.

I would go with imperials because they are pretty much equal well going over it the imperial legion would dominate all races if you think of it
