I just want to thank you Dark0ne and all you hard working administrators and moderators for this great site. It is a real pleasure to log on here everyday. Your zero tolerance on trolling, bad behaviour and general immaturity is what makes you stand out from every other community out there. I wish other places would follow in your footsteps and help put an end to the childish behaviour people on the internet are so well known for.

"If you think it would be inappropriate to say it in real life, don't say it on the net"

Thank you very much for everything you do to make this community the best one ever.

Cheers!

/Gabriel

+ kudos for your being an old member, still being around and not considering their work for granted after so many years :). Edited by Pronam

:) I don't remember you from back in 2004-2005, were you active back then?

No, I cheated from 04 till 09. I just downloaded a few mods back then and never got to the forums. Just the last 2-3 years I have been around frequently.

Just nice to see other people stick around :).

Every once in a while there's a thank you thread for the moderators... and I think that it's definitely warranted.

When I first came to Nexus a couple of years ago, I saw the ban list and thought "Woah! This place is strict!" But having seen the shenanigans that some people attempt (especially after the release of Skyrim), I think the right choice was made to enforce the rules this strongly.

The rules are mostly common sense to anyone with a bit of life experience and aren't hard to follow. I do feel a little sorry for some of the young ones who don't know right from wrong due to limited social interaction outside of their circle of school friends or 4chan... but then again, it's something they have to learn. Better that they get banned here than get fired from their first real-life job (or worse, arrested for disturbing the peace).

So from me, a thanks to the moderators, not just for the unpaid hours you've contributed, but the consistency between you all when it comes to enforcing the rules.
