FastBlackCat
I've been using FOMM for a while, and in fact, it was working fine three nights ago. Now when I try to use the Package Manager it freezes and I can't get it to do anything. When I close it and try to reopen it, a message window comes up saying FOMM is running. I literally have to shut down/restart my computer to get it to work again. I do have a version of FOMM (FOMM 640-0-13-21 exe) that asks for me to sign in to Nexus before I can open the Package Manager. It's after I sign in that the freezing happens. If I have to uninstall and reinstall it I will, but I really don't want to, so iff anybody has any explanations on why this is happening or suggestions on how to get it to work again, I'd love to hear them. M48A5
I must be using the same version since I had the same problem yesterday. I have never signed in, I just leave the boxes blank and click "Login". However, this did not work, so I tried again and clicked on cancel and the package manager opened and I was able to use it. I think the problem is with the nexus. Ever since they made some changes, it has been taking a long time to get to the forums and to navigate through the sub forums and individual postings. I have also seen some people having a problem downloading files. They are getting messages that the files were just uploaded and you have to wait 30-60 mins and to come back in an hour. This was for a file that has been up for months. FastBlackCat
Thanks, M48A5! Would you believe I tried everything except that . So after having read your post, I clicked on the cancel, and the package manager opened right up. (So easy it was almost embarrassing . . . ).
