GleepGlop
Sorry if this has been covered I want to get FNV for PC and put mods on it: should I get the ultimate edition when it comes out or do I have to get the older version for it to be mod compatible? Pronam
Sure, why wouldn't it? It is exactly the same product, just packed together in one buy-able item.
Jeoshua
It will be completely moddable: It's for PC. If it wasn't made to be moddable it would be modded to be moddable, like every other PC game every created.
GleepGlop
I just thought I read something about how mods don't work with the latest patch and this will surely be released with the latest patch. Anyhoo just making sure.

Anyhoo just making sure.what patch do mods not work with sounds like I need a new patch that doesn't existI play New Vegas on PS3 and have issues with patches. It ran fine until I bought th DLC for this games. Now it lags and freezes in Freeside, Hidden Valley bunker, New Vegas strip (everywhere except inside Lucky 38), and anytime after you've been playing for less than an hour. It seems Bethesda just doesn't care about consoles as much as the do PC's, otherwise there would be no problems.
Jeoshua
New Vegas is not made by Bethesda! It's made by Obsidian. And the whole idea that they "care more about PC's" is rediculous. It's not that they care more, it's that more steps can be taken by the users to make the game run correctly on a PC. As a console user, you don't get the benefit of community patches, mods, and other such goodies that make the game playable for the majority of PC users. Hell, you can't even tweak your ini files to add some of the very important... nay... CRUCIAL tweaks that make the game stable. And that's something to take up with Sony and Microsoft, not the developers of the game, who would let you install mods if you wanted.
