Clock88
I've started using FOMM recently, and when it prompts me to login to the nexus, it freezes and I have to use task manager to shut it down. Skipping the login screen lets me into the package manager, but when trying to add a file clicking either option when it asks me if I want to make a copy of the original file crashes FOMM, luckily the file is added when I reopen the program but it still makes it very tedious to add mods. crashdump.txt 05 February 2012 - 15:53:23Fomm 0.13.21OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Fomm.PackageManager.FomodBuilder.FomodFromSourceBuilder.BuildFomodFromSource(Satring p_strPath, NexusAPI p_nxaNexus) at Fomm.PackageManager.PackageManager.AddNewFomod(String p_strPath) at Fomm.PackageManager.PackageManager.addFOMODToolStripMenuItem_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.RaiseEvent(Object key, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleMouseUp(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEventInteractive(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEvent(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) Also various downloads on the fallout3nexus website bring up an error page saying: Warning: fopen(/home/fs2/files/fo3/FOIP - Marts Mutant Mod and FWE-4968.zip) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/fs2/public_html/get.php on line 77Warning: ftp_fget() expects parameter 2 to be resource, boolean given in /home/fs2/public_html/get.php on line 86There was a problem while downloading /public_html/files/uploads/FOIP - Marts Mutant Mod and FWE-4968.zip to /home/fs2/files/fo3/FOIP - Marts Mutant Mod and FWE-4968.zipWarning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/fs2/public_html/get.php on line 94 The error is the same on other downloads but with a different file name, I don't know if this is related to the nexus sites being quite slow today. Werne
Just a question, did you try to download the mod with a Mod Manager?
Clock88
I downloaded the mods manually, put them into a folder into my HDD, and then used package manager in FOMM to select them. My second problem with some files being unavailble on the enxus seems to be fixed now, msut have been just a temporary site issue. But the first isssue with FOMM itself still stands. Werne
FOMM never asked me to login to the site, though I think it's capable of doing so. Just don't login and you should have no problem. And the problem you're having is due to domain change in the sites, and since FOMM is no longer updated (I think) you can't login to the Nexus through it anymore. Werne
Weird, FOMM never asked me to login anywhere. I just tried to take a look at it, I can't see the login option anywhere, it doesn't exist at all o_O.
M48A5
@WerneFOMM version 0.13.21, when you click the package manager button, a box opens that tells you to login to the Nexus website. I usually just click the login button and the package manager window opens. @Clock88I am not familiar with your operating system, but do you have a User Account Control? And, if so, is Fallout and FOMM installed in a location outside of the UAC?
Werne
I've got V 0.10, the one that can run both FO3 and NV, I think it's 0_10_2 in the old versions. Maybe that's why I don't need to login when I open the Package Manager. You can always try and download an older one to see will it work, I don't think much changed since 0.10, mine still works perfectly although it's ancient. Clock88
It's Windows 7 64 bit, the crashdump reports it differently for some reason. If i'm not able to log in then i'm fine with that, i don't even know what features it enables anyway, the main problem is it crashign when I try to add mods, it hinders my ability to add mods by quite a bit, i've got quite a few mods stored up for when I can add mods quickly with FOMM. I've taken a look in the comments section for FOMM and it seems toehr people are having the same/similair problem, the only solution so far is to use an older versio of FOMM. Clock88
I tried running the old F3 only version of FOMM which solved the problems but it doesnt seem to have support normal archives that don't have fomods or fomod folders in them. So i'm still searching around some sort of fix or knowledge on the msot recent version of FOMM.
