How to unlock Data Files Option in Skyrim SE Screen

Hello I'm PC Game User Drakemoonstar,

 

I'm new membership of this Nexus Mods website. Greeting from Canada.

 

I'm coming to this forum for the solution is I hope to find how to unlock Data Files Option which is missing in the Skyrim SE Screen.

 

I need to enable mods in the list of Date Files through the manual installation to play Skyrim. I did google through websites and YouTube to find the answer to fix Data Files issues but no luck and no idea how to fix it so I'm still struggle it.

 

I opened This PC\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\ SkyrimPrefs and add three words under " Launcher " in the notepad below:

 

bEnableFileSelection=1

bShowAllResolutions=0

uLastAspectRatio=3

I saved it and close it.

I opened Skyrim and Data Files doesn't show up in the screen.

How can I fix and enable Data Files ?

I would appreciate your help to solve this issues with step to step for the guide.

It looks like the game's screen resolution isn't set to match your monitor's resolution. My suggestion would be to open the Skyrim launcher and then choose Options. You can change both your resolution and your aspect ratio from there.

For the Special Edition, there is no "Data Files" section. You must start the game from the launcher to configure your mods.

 

By the way, this is the section for the old, 2011 Skyrim, not the Special Edition.
