GMatthews
So there's a great mod that creates crown versions of most types of helmets in the game... http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5803 The author has mentioned he probably won't do beast version of the crowns because he doesn't think they will look right and I can respect that. I am experimenting for my own purposes. I've attached what the crown looks like now o na human and Khajiit for reference. I think the particular crown I am wanting will work for my Khajiit if I can make is slightly larger and move it forward on her head. I know that without altering the actual mesh there will still be clipping but am thinking it might be tolerable for the amazing look. I actually found the settings in NIFskope under 8NiNode that seem to make the helm bigger and move it forward on the Y axis, but I make the changes and save only to find nothing looks different in-game. Obviously I am a noob with meshes but I'm playing around some. I've downloaded a couple of tutorials and will start looking through them, just wanted to see if I am completely off-track with what I am trying. It may just be that what I am wanting to do is not possible with just NIFskope. Edited February 6, 2012 by GMatthews
markofthedog
after you rightclick transform and edit you then rightclick transform apply i just learned that hours ago. i was soo lost.
Ghogiel
You'll probably have limited success with only doing that, the mesh is skinned and as such collapsing transforms can cause issues. It might or might not assplode.
GMatthews
Thanks for the replies. I feel foolish because I do not see anything that says Transform Edit or Transform Apply... EDIT: -I found it. Edited February 6, 2012 by GMatthews
