Xenobuzz
Hey, gang! SO, I have a new PC that's even faster than my previous one, and I'm super excited to try more mods and textures. I'm especially happy to now be using Windows 7 instead of Vista. Here are the steps I took to attempt to get my modded FO3 working on the new system. 1. Installed vanilla version off the disc.2. Ran vanilla version, watched opening movie and only chose sex of player before exiting without saving.3. Copied the entire Fallout 3 folder on the older PC onto a thumb drive and copied it directly into the vanilla folder on the new PC.4. Tried running the game and ERROR: "The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll"5. Tried the FOMM tweak (after installing it and checking my Load Order is correct and all used mods are checked), did not fix the problem.6. Tried downloading, installing and running Games for Windows LIVE disabler (making sure it's on the same HD as the game)7. G4WL sez: "Cannot find your FALLOUT.INI. This usually means you haven't run Fallout 3 yet." I did run the game once (before copying over the heavily modded Fallout 3 folder, but I didn't create a save game because I already have some on the other PC. What steps should I take to get my previous Fallout 3 game running on this PC? Thanks! Dave

Could you please elaborate? Dave
M48A5
If you copy your error message and paste it in google, you will come up with 1,990 results. Than you can take you pick as to what you need to do to get your game up and running.
