In terms of vanilla counts, it's like 1-2k ish. My regular advice is use them when you need or want them and don't spam load of unnecessary faces all over the shop, If you stick to that it's pretty hard to do anything silly.

 

99.9% of downloaders don't know and don't care and will ride your ball sac anyway even if you have a 40k tri sword when you could have done it as good in 2k no sweat

So a 5-6k gun is fine? (Its a musket)

It's a bit on the high side , I mean it's kinda just a stick really. 5k tri would be acceptable though and wouldn't cause issues, In some other fps games can ram 8k tri into their guns, but those tend to have a lot of bumpy crap like scopes stuck on them.
