Moksha8088
Just downloaded a mod called Aurlyn Dawnstone for Skyrim SE from https://aurlyndawnstone.blogspot.com.au/p/about.html. After I added it with NMM, NMM shut down. There may have been a blurb about quarantine, but it was too fast to really see. I cannot open NMM or the individual Nexus client.exe because it tells me I do not have permission. Was this due to malware from the downloaded mod? What can I do to solve this problem? LeddBate
Ouch. Sorry to hear that dude. Well, start with the basics. I presume you have an Anti-Virus. If the scans are coming up negative, but you're still worried, you might want to try Malwarebytes for a deep, manual scan of your OS. If you still come up negative (and are not showing any other signs of malware infestation) then move on to getting your NMM back up. First, check your A/Vs quarantine function. If it has indeed quarantined NMM, then you'll either have to take a chance and un-quarantine it (I don't recommend this) or re-install NMM. This might require you to re-install all your mods if you lose all the original paths. Sorry if that happens. If your A/V did NOT quarantine NMM itself, just the (possible) malware (it might be a false positive) then perhaps you need only give NMM admin rights back. See if that works. Good luck. Moksha8088
Ran both Malwarebytes and the antivirus with no results. However, closing windows and re-adding the latest NMM did the trick. Was able to activate the Aurlyn Dawnstone SE mod and it works. Thanks, LeddBate.
