four2nothin
Basically, i just wan to know how to make items belong to custom Npc s ?So that when you look at it in the game it only gives you the option to steal it thanks
thumbincubation
Assuming you mean an object outside their personal inventory, drag and drop it into the world, wherever it is you want to place it. Then double click the dropped item, and there should be an 'ownership' tab. Find the NPC in the drop box, by typing the first few letters of their ck name. chucksteel
You can do the same for multiple items by selecting all of the objects, containers and whatnot Hitting the " - " key (Minus key) You'll then get a batch window where you can batch all sorts of things. Everything from Ownership to Enable Parent. Choose your NPC and click "DO" Or "OK" (I forget off the top of my head)Note The window won't close you have to close it manually but I will set your changes to all selected items or objects. thumbincubation
All those individual guards, set to one CW garrison marker or another, and I could've batched it? :/
chucksteel
Yep you could batch it and a lot of other things. Edit: You could batch stuff in FO3/NV now in FO4. I didn't and won't EVER mod TES but I assume you can do the same with them.
thumbincubation
I had no idea. TY for this. Will make the next guard mod a LOT less tedious.
four2nothin
thank you! i wish i would have known i could do that 'batch' thing. it would probably work with changing the material of certain items right?
chucksteel
Yes things like Linked Ref's, Ownership, Enable Parent, Material Swap Enable State and much more. when you open the Batch window you'll see all it can do.
