Creation Kit has stopped working?

Crashes causes when using Text/object find aren't unusaly they tend to be in fact the client LOOKS like it is hung up to windows who then spawns its program not responding message etc etc.

-When it goes into an unresponsive state like that it can help to give it 5-10min before you start clicking stuff.

Negative.

"Application has encountered a problem and needs to close" is not typical of a program which is not responding. Neither is the message appearing instantly after clicking something, windows generally waits for the program before deciding to tell you it has to close, if it has become unresponsive.

Yea hopefully they will patch this crap away.

I've got that issue too . It seems as if Bethesda WANT us to use anything BUT the CK... Server 2008 R2 x64 , 4GB RAM , Turion64 X2 @ 2.2GHz Laptop CPU

Good thing is , in all that time until the release of the CK there were quite a number of freeware tools developed . So , if you don't like using the CK because of whatever reason - you just don't .

What other tools do you suggest?

I can't get my CK to start at all! It worked before. Not it gets a window's error stopped working message... I have trial and error-ed the heck out of it with mod fiddling and file directory messin but nothing is working. I am quite frustrated.

I've worked with it last night, also using Win7x64, so far found that after 2-3 hours its just needs to be closed and re-opened (if you clicking but nothing opens, its time to restart CK). But last night I've left something in the Filter/All, and now when I start CK the same window pops up, but before I could select File/Data it just crashes. Is there any backup or local memory for CK that we can delete? I reinstalled, but still the same windows coming up. I'm thinking about to uninstall, delete everything that left, restart pc and re-install CK...

Actually tried this. Just cut/paste the .dll into a separate folder (desktop in my case), open CK, close it no problem. Then, just repaste the .dll when playing Skyrim. Works!
