I would pick the Ocean. There are tons of neat and unknown plants and creatures in the sea which could be thoroughly observed and enjoyed. There are also underwater land formations such as mountains and waterfall carved rocks so it would be like a vacation. I would enjoy the very depths where there are the other worldly looking bioluminescent fish and ancient life forms  .

Yeah, I would tend to agree with ya there..... I just don't see us figgering that one out anytime this century..... or probably the next either. We will have to wait for some alien race to come along, and bring us up to speed... so to speak.

"Titanic" film director James Cameron has completed the world's first solo dive to the deepest-known point on Earth, reaching the bottom of the Pacific Ocean's Mariana Trench southwest of Guam in a specially designed submarine.

I like the idea of exploring both. We could have teams of both astronauts and aquanauts who would be specifically trained to explore the unknown depths of each environment. Just think of the knowledge about the universe we would gain from exploring both environments. The College of Winterhold can perhaps spearhead the exploration? With help from the Bard's College too?:P

p.s. Couldn't resist the little Skyrim insertion there. :P

Thor, there are no creatures more advanced than me! If there were, I'd tell you! :P
