Ok there's no mod about this and we need this!!!!!

 

We need someone to create a mod that makes everything in the map (Boston and everything else) Pre-war!!!! you can see the whole map in the beginning of the game before everything got nuked BUT if you toggle collission and fly to the city........ there's nothing there but the tallest buildings and the floor of the map is just unfinished... holes there and water over here. WE need someone talented or a group to make a mod/project that makes the whole map as it was before the war.

 

you'll of course leave the story untouched because it would be fun to wander around killing raiders and all the mutated creatures and everything is untouched by the war....(except for the enemies and stuff)

 

 

Many people want this but no one has done this so WE ( soooo many fallout fans) need someone to do this!!!

I pondered this and the thing is:

 

* What would it be based on?

... as there is NO pre-war maps, buildings and such to draw from. The map is what it is.

 

UNLESS: There is something very specific you are looking for on the map, that is not made clear enough?

Alter the beginning of the game and have the player actually spend time with the family we're meant to care about, maybe even go to a baseball game. Then the next time you go home to your Sanctuary house the MQ starts and the game as we know it begins.

Sadly, I see where you are coming from, but as the saying goes: " It is what it is .... "

 

Actually, I wished Beth would have spent more time & energy on Character development and quests than Fallout meets Sim City.

 

They had - have some great doors that they cracked a bit .... and then IMHO, left us hanging .. and going, " and ..... ", why Beth did you " go there " and just STOP? :/

 

Oh well ..... it is indeed what it is.

Well, that's rather you. I seriously doubt a lot of people want that, this is just a case of projection from OP.

 

As for the request - there are very few prewar items. Even the vault ones or some of the prewar stuff is dirty and broken for some reason. Whoever would do this would have hell of a lot of work to do, and their mod would kill the game due to breaking the pcb in literally every part of the world.
