nosisab
The same way you get the character running Shift key (or caps Locks)

nosisab
I dont want it to run mate, just WALK faster Ah, sorry, I misunderstood the question. Don't know if there are specifics mods to address this, but by editing in CS is not unlike editing the attribute speed of any other creature. So you can turn the paint brother Marborel's "pangare" faster than Shadowdancer :)' You will encounter all creatures in game in the "objects window', just remember than editing original stuff is not ever a good idea. But in this case, if you don't plan distribute the modification there is no bigger problem. One more easy way is you positioning near the horse, open console with ~ key (or equivalent in your keyboard) mouse click the horse so its identification appears on top center screen, type modav speed # - being this a value you want to add to the speed. a minus value is possible, just don't let the final value less then 0a good idea is you verify first the actual value of the attribute with GetAV speedbe aware than ModAV adds to the current base stat, unlike SetAV that give the value typed (modav is preferred at most situations). This is preferable over editing in construction set as only this instance of horse will be modified.
Vagrant0
The athletics skill also plays a part in movement speed. But yeah, your best option is really to just use modav from console. You can also adjust personallity of the horse to get around that whole "everything wanting to kill your horse rather than you" thing. Keep in mind, a horse which moves faster is not always a good thing, turning speed usually sucks too bad, or the horse dies after running down a hill. Really, horses are more trouble than they're worth. Later on, (unless you took atronach birthsign) you might even be better off using some fortify speed/athletics spells instead. nosisab
Just complementing Vagrant advices, acrobatics would give your horse better chances to survive falls and high athletics would not drain its 'stamina' (or lower fatigue, than is the same) too fast. about the personality, thank you Vagrant, was a good hint to me, I don't knew why the foes ever got to the horse first. But in the end all those changes would just prevent you to seek better horses, mainly 'Shadowmere' the one horse that would put black courier eating dust. Triforce1
Horses really are incredibly annoying once you've built up a huge reporitoire of fast-travel locations. But you really can't beat a flying mount.
