Why does my Skyrim take a long time to load and save after opening the game a second time?

Everything worked fine until a week ago when my game took a long time to save (around 10 mins if I'm lucky). Rebooting my pc seems to solve the issue, but if I close the game and open it again...10 mins will pass before I can play the game. It's becoming so f*cking tedious especially when I encounter CTDs. I have to reboot my pc all over again just so it can run. I have around 160 mods runnin. Any suggestions?

My first instinct is to say that some script is looping forever and not letting Skyrim save. But it might also be something as simple as your A/V getting caught in a near infinite loop trying to scan your game when you save. Weird, I know.

 

But guesses won't help you much. Post your load order and we'll see if something jumps out at us. Better post your rig's stats as well.

OS: Windows 8.1

Processor: Intel® Core i3-5010U CPU @ 2.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.1GHz

RAM: 4.00GB

GPU: NVIDIA Geforce 920M (4GB)
