Newegg's prices for Ryzen chips are completely whack.

Same chip, listed for $319 on Amazon. You can get a Ryzen 1500x for $189 on Amazon as well, and it's just as good for gaming as the 1700 model. 4 cores, 8 threads. You don't need more than that for gaming applications.

I'm Canadian prices are higher here, which kind of suck. Do to taxes and shipping its not worth to go the usa side.

You guys are lucky to have such low prices.

I'd be paying 500 freaking Dollars after taxes, sigh life is what it is.

If you don't feel like spending the extra cash at this time, the stock cooler that comes with the Ryzen chips this time are actually really nice in comparison to AMD's older (and lousy) coolers. Just a heads up.

I'm getting the parts from a local store, keeping the receipt that's for sure.

last but very important to the build the Noctua cooler

Watched the video down below the cooler is mounted high, so it wont get in the way of the memory.

Okay, that makes sense. I don't have any local computer shops where I live - so I have to buy stuff online. I'm familiar with the Noctua cooler you linked, it's a fine cooler, especially when memory clearance is important.

I may have to get the Noctua online, heck even local stores like Canada computers have no clue what Noctua is. :ohdear: :geek:

How do they not know the best CPU air-coolers that have ever existed?

I have noticed they are a lot more expensive in North America though
