Deleted2749540User
No matter what browser I use, how many times i reset my password, delete cache and history, anything, I cant login to any of my nexus accounts. They all say incorrect password. I even registered a new account and it didnt even work. Im just about to finish my dream gaming computer and really want to install some of the great fallout 3 and skyrim mods but cant do it because some have an adult filter on them, cant access them without an account..... Could someone please help me?
buddah
Any special characters in your password, letters and numbers only. The forum will accept them, but not the file sites.

Hengebobs
I've been having the same issue. I'll try resetting my password...
Dark0ne
Please send any non-working passwords to me so I can troubleshoot them. You can change your password afterwards if you wish, but we need to know which characters aren't working so we can fix them.
BoogieManFL
I was just coming to post about this problem as well. It will let you select a password it won't recognize. Passwords with special characters (even simple ones like % * # and the like) will be erroneously reported as an incorrect password when it is in fact correct. If they both won't accept the same passwords, is there a way to make them consistent to avoid other people running into this frustrating issue? More and more sites these days are insisting on "stronger" passwords and people are going to get used to that and having that suddenly be an issue - without any feedback to suggest it will be - is kinda silly. If it somehow cannot be done, I'm not surprised. EA has the same problem with some of their websites/games. How it can be so difficult to normalize it is beyond me. In my experience it won't recognize Shift + 1 through 0 characters. Edited February 10, 2012 by BoogieManFL
Hengebobs
It was the character issue for me, in this case simple symbols: $ Did the password reset to one without special symbols, and it all works fine now. But, yes, it will let you select symbols it won't recognize after the fact. Sorry about not pm it to you earlier Dark0ne. When it worked i didn't come back to the forum until this morning. At the time i sent a notification thingy, and the auto message said it was successful, but any who. As of last night the $ dollar sign was not being recognized.
