DarthSlushie
so... after September of last year I kinda fell out of fallout 4, but now when I want to play it again but NMM broke it self some point between September and now and I have no clue how to fix it. I reinstalled the new version but when I launch it in administrator mode my cursor does the little loading circle then nothing happens I don't even get the pop up that where it says nexus mods or what ever it says. I found a fix that everybody says it works but for me it doesn't, that fix being go to USERS>"matrix"(my user name)>appdata>local>black tree gaming(the creators of NMM) and the fix says to delete something in that folder but nothing is there, the folder is completely empty. I haven't tried to launch Fallout 4 to see if it the folder starts to create stuff which I might now do, but if that doesn't work i'm out of ideas. have you guys ever ran into the same issue, did you fix it? would love to know, I want to get rid of my fallout itch. PS. sorry if this isn't EXACTLY about fallout 4 so if you guys can recommend me to a place where people will help you'll be my only hope -guy that's sick of NMM breaking after the sad new of them not working on it anymore
meztostudious
As someone who has never used NMM, i can recommend not using it and just installing mods manually. It's not as hard as it sounds, some mods even provide a "ReadMe" text document explaining how to install it. Manual installation almost never fails for me, and if it does, i ask the modder about it. And i usually get an answer rather quickly. So if i were you, i would just ditch the software completely, and install mods manually.
