can i add the player's name to a book/letter?

for example: i wanna make a mod about the player getting a letter, in the letter's page there is a script that automatically adds written the pc's name

 

 

is there such script in cs?

According to the article Morrowind supports variables in book text (e.g. %PCName) but Oblivion doesn't. Wonder why that decision was made? Oblivion's text handling engine in general seems pretty weak imo, e.g. custom spell and weapon names in lists are often unpredictably parsed, and/or truncated to the point of uselessness etc.
