bloody hypocrite
Hey folks,I was just wondering if there was a way to link multiple objects to the enable parent at once, instead of having to do it for each item. Also, it it possible/advisable to chain objects back to a specific xmarker? Thanks in advance for any help.Cheers,BH

Galacticat42
I'm going to have to say no, not likely. Although I'm not 100% sure, the general system of an object hierarchy argues against multiple parents for one object.
bloody hypocrite
Budz42,I think you misunderstood me, and the thread title is somewhat misleading. I was wondering if there was a way of linking multiple items to a parent simultaneously, so that I wouldn't have to add every piece of clutter one at a time by hand. Oh, and chaining items is possible, but if one were to delete one link in the chain... I may just have to stick with linking directly to the xmarker to be safe. 269091
Batch action window! Select all references you want to edit and bring up the batch action window by pressing the "-" (minus) key on the main block of the keyboard (not from the numbers block) or menue -> view -> Reference batch action window. (I just learnt that from someone at Beth forums). Hope it helps...
bloody hypocrite
Thanks guys! I actually feel really stupid, but in the ref window you can select multiple objects and right click > set enable parent. Gah, so much time wasted.
