I am done with the lantern model and texture but all of the sudden the light doesn't show up upon equipping the lantern and it was working perfectly fine yesterday so i am currently investigating that problem.

Ahh, I hate when it does that. I'm having troubles with an AI package that was working and now just isn't. Idk why it does that.

I know AI package are pretty finicky to play with! I managed to solved the light problem by simply restarting my computer, i think sometime the creation kit play trick on us.

The creation kit is among the least cooperative programs I've ever run. Never before have I had the "low on memory" warning and shutdown, but happened multiple times with CK, until I was forced to push the paging file up.

The CK just gave me that out of memory error before this problem happen yesterday and i had 14 GB free so go figure!

Every time i think everything is fine something pop up that i didn't notice first, when the player crouch the lantern is a little too high, in the standing position it is fine but i notice a little too much wobbling side to side when running and this is related to pivot point distance so i am trying to fix it but since nifskope documentation is pretty empty i will have to go by trial and errors until i get it right.

They always seem like such simple tweaks, when we start...and then we learn it's not to be. I just thought I had managed to create a bucket helmet, like in ESO. Got them all made, at the right height, sized and moved about for the M and F, and all the beast races. Was all excited that I'd managed to stumble through it. Put it in game, it looks fine until the player or character moves, and the bucket stays in place, while they clip through it. Apparently, they have to be weighted for movement and that's not something nifskope can do.

The weighting is pretty easy to do in 3ds max and you also have blender but i have no idea how easy it is in this software but there is surely plenty of tutorial on youtube like this one here :
