Deleted23027814User
I am working on a Skyrim Special Edition mod which adds various Conjuration spells to the world of Skyrim but, I do not know where I should put a "Conjure Giant" spell tome which obviously would require quite the skill to cast but, for further balancing I would like to know of a location (preferably a difficult dungeon or hard to access location) to put the spell tome for balancing reasons. HeyYou
Could always put it in a chest in one of the Giant camps. :)
thumbincubation
Well, anywhere really, including dropping a door somewhere and creating your own cave or dungeon, but if you want to add it to an existing location, here are a few that you might like. 1. Fellglow Keep, not far outside of Whiterun, already inhabited by conjurers (College quest to retrieve books, from "the Caller). Located not far from a giant camp, and in the areas around Whiterun where giants frequent.2. Morvunskar, on the road out of Windhelm. Also loaded with conjurers, and not far from the sulphur pools, where there are giants, presumably to be studied back before the spell was crafted.3. Rimerock Burrow Lesser-known and kind of out of the way. Inhabited by a powerful conjurer. I suggest these because conjurers are going to be more likely to have such a book, but you could drop it into the boss loot or the library of virtually any dungeon and consider it just a long-forgotten spell. Deleted23027814User
How much Magicka should it cost? Can't think of a balanced amount...
thumbincubation
Depends on what level spell you want it to be. Is it going to be Master level conjuration, or expert, etc? I'd look at the spells for each level of Conjuration, see which one lines up, and then decide if you want it to be more or less costly to use, than the vanilla spell of that level. Factor in whether it's a permanent thrall or a time limited conjure, size, etc. IMO, summoning a giant is a pretty big job, so if it's not permanent, I'd probably put it in between the Expert and Master level range.
