It´s down at the moment. Don´t worry guys, this isn´t the first time it happens that a site is down for some time. I´m pretty sure we´ll be able to acces skyrimnexus any minute.

One of the services went down around about 5am. Normally it would automatically restart but for some reason, this time, it didn't. Doesn't help it was a particularly "heavy" night last night for me and I slept through the text messages telling me the site was down, so alas, I was only able to fix it when I woke up. Apologies!

You all have valid points and I'd be lying if I said I disagreed. I think the workshop needs improvements but imo it's not so bad for being out less than a week.

@Christhesilent - All mods from the workshop go into your Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data folder. They're all named after the mod title in .esp or .bsa format. I agree though about seeing the file first before installing.

@maxxbrown - The sales are the sole reason I use Steam. Terraria for me and all my friends for only 2$ you say? Yes, please. Also, Steam does have an offline mode incase you are ever without internet.

@Snapless - A browser link may be what you're looking for. You can bookmark directly to your favorites/subs from there.

Your points 1 and 6 somewhat contradict each other. After you've subscribed to a mod and installed it, you can use this as a way to stop automatic updates by unsubscribing. You'll have to click the Data Files tab to set it to load (or remove it completely). I'm not saying this is good design at all, but it is a way around it. I'm hoping they'll let us sort our subscriptions/favorites by 'Last Updated' and just giving us the option to turn off auto-update up front.

As for what's in updates, thats always been on the Authors to inform you, whether by read-me or in the description. Trust me, I'm OCD about what has been updated so I understand, lol. You can't blame Steam for that one unfortunately.

Anyways, yay for it being back up! Time to gtf off the forums and play Skyrim.

No that is not sarcasm, I can't imagine having your responsibility to all these users. I folded a long time ago with a much smaller game and better hand...
