Slaiv
I still need to buy Tribunal so I can get the MEMOd... Or was it Bloodmoon?
MDH Weaponeer
I'm pretty sure they used both. Hah... that would be funny... on the island... a little tiki bar that sold you about 50 different liquids that drained and fortified... You could get DRUNK. And about the fog... you should be able to turn it on and off, depending on how good your computer is, or whatever... Or have fog only happen sometimes, like in the morning, and throughout the day, it's gone... And if this sort of EP or game ever is made, make sure that everything is alot more realistically coloured, the one thing I hated about Morrowind was that everything had a greyish, darkish tint, which made it look dark and dismal, even at day.... Slaiv
EXACTLY MY POINT! Everything is too drab in MW.....And I don't care about the fog. OH, and to answer myself, you need Bloodmoon for t3h MEMod.
Breton Thief Oriana
I think it would do good both ways... as a new game, or a Morrowind expansion... How about lots of sunken shipwrecks to explore, and SHARKS?... Corals with tons of amazingly coloured fish... Electric eels that do shock damage... and a new race, or at least a newly playable race. like if you could be dreugh, or sload, or some other underwater based race. and then you could use scripts to where if you are ABOVE water you drown, but you have water breathing constant effect, like if you had gills. MDH Weaponeer
Haha, air breathing for 60 secs on self. Any of you guys have your own Expansion ideas... or anything?
ohGr
even the greatest computers would struggle with a fog dammit!, if you had a radeon 9800 256mb ddr xt, and a p4 3.2 overclocked to 4.0, you would still get lag if it loads more than one cell, and besides, if it loaded up all of morrowind, you would be getting a complete halt, face it, no one can run it smoothly with no fog, i've seen it before, it looks crap without a fog, and it runs crap on a geforce fx 5950 ultra without a fog, and that card is 1 fps slower in morrowind than a radeon 9800 xt...they both got around 10fps from seyda neen to balmora. MDH Weaponeer
I know of this one game, where it doesn't actually load any of the cell Data, but just shows the 3D model of it, so you can see really far away withuot lag (since the cell isn't actually loaded yet, it's just being... "displayed").
Camonna
My new expansion Idea is Cyridil and the imperial provinceand you should be able to help with the unrest in cyrodil and help uriel septim and do work for him!!! ^_^ ^_^ That would be the coolest ever. as you can see I am an imperial fan! I dont mind the fog and we need the fog
Slaiv
Morrowind: GTA Style :D You could run around in 1st person with modern weaps in a modern setting, taking the heads of all those that cross your path...... I'll stop talking now.
DreamOfTheRood
The problem with an island in the south is that it conflicts with the official map. South of Vvardenfell is the main continent of Tamriel. However, if you went north, you wouldn't have any problems. You would also be able to work in more environments, like cold or arctic landscapes. However, it appears that Bethesda is working on the Summerset Isles for ES: IV. That could be good if they do it right. If they take into account all of the complaints that most people have about the game, they can make a killer game. The only thing I can't really see is an online deal. That's just too bloody complicated, and we don't need another MMORPG.
