How to make a new perk tree?

Understand we can rename and combine the perk trees/skills, but ultimately the problem is mod compatibility. Players will, likely, be forced to pick one mod over another.... oh well, enough of my complaining. I'm diehard AGAINST implementing anything that creates mod incompatibility if it can be achieved any other way. Here's hoping at some point they'll implement the ability to add skills and additional perk trees.

I hope it too and I agree with you.

That is sad. I've been planning to make a new skill ever since the game came out... I think the only way around it will have to be the removal of the skill trees and constellations, and replacing it with something else. That sounds like a pain, but I'm sure someone will do it.

Well, the problem is, how can we load up our own flash? I've never really played around with flash, but I spent the entire day yesterday scouring though the papyrus wiki, and I couldn't find anything that allows us to load up our own flash files. I think the only way it might be even possible is with skse, but I can't find the proper documentation. I'm thinking of trying to pull apart SkyUI to see how they do it, but I'm pretty sure they just overrode the existing interfaces.

Also, one thing I found is that the interface for the stars and perk trees aren't contained in Skyrim-Interfaces.BSA. Maybe they can be found somewhere else though. I have to keep looking.

And then the ominous music plays as people realize it's probably hard coded in the exe.

One good out of this evil is that there can be unlimited perks in each tree. SO it will be possible to make a universal script that modularly places multiple skill sets into one tree, effectively turning each tree into multiple trees.

And of course I break my ESP again trying to use the Duplicate button on the Destruction skill...
