OnyxNightBlack
I have heard about people using well over a hundred mods without any problems (I use around 50). There shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't have too many conflicting mods or ressource hoggers. For essential and very good mods: - Unofficial Oblivion Patch- Unofficial Oblivion Patch Shivering Isles- Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul/ Francesco's Leveled Creatures/Martigan's Monster Mod/FCOM - Mighty Magick (If you use a magic based character)- TNR Complete (Reworks over a 1000 NPCs to look more attractive/better)- Beautiful People (Adds several new races, new hairstyles and eyes)- Natural Faces (Better textures for every face in the game)- Natural Environments (Makes the whole world just look that much better) Those are essential mods for me. There are more if you want something specific, like annoyance removers or performance upgrades. A good ressource to check is here: http://ballofflame.googlepages.com/balloff...oblivionmodlist Good luck and have fun.
bben46
The best mods are the most popular - those in the top 100 list. The limit is 255 mods. But you will probably have problems long before you hit the limit. Don't try to load all of your new mods at once. load a few 5 or 6, then test them to be sure they are working. Then another 5 or6. If you try to load a dozen or more at once you will probably have some kind of problem that you will have to figure out before you go on. Again, the top 100 are the most stable because they are the most used. But even with these recommendations, only about 30% of the mods I use are on the list. Look for the ones you like and try them. If they don't work, or if they cause problems, then remove them. There are no must have mods. Everybody plays differently, so everybody uses different mods. Have fun. nosisab
Hi bben, sorry being off topic, but know you the better way of installing a second Oblivion, for modding and testing purposes?
