SMB92 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Share Posted August 29, 2017 Just wanted to address a few points here, F4SE isn't gonna do anything for us at this point, so you can rule that out. Compatibility is paramount so I won't be making any change to vanilla values unless it is absolutely imperative, we will be making the mod an ESM file as to combat conflicts with precalc in cell references and also possibly including adding "protected" status permanently to important NPCs so they aren't killed by the mobs. The silver lining is that with the coming refactor, it will allow the mod to be more flexible in what other mod can do with it, as in other modders could simply use some templated data to use spawns for their own "regions" etc. We haven't 100% worked this out yet, but it is of fair importance to the mod. Thanks for support all, work will continue slowly until I find both the time and motivation to spend long sessions on it. BTW on another note, heard the news on CC today, what a pile of garbage thats looking to be. On that note, Once the mod is 100% complete and I am happy with it, I will be making it OPEN SOURCE. If so, what does it does and to what .ini to add it ( Custom, Prefs or main ) ? Also, if the line does not exist, can we create it ? kitcat81 Posted August 30, 2017 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Alright folks, I've decided that the mod wouldn't be complete unless I added 20 different Encounter Zone levels that users can define per region, and per spawn type :D. This opens the doors to a very diverse spawn system if later on we introduce some sort of "faction control over the commonwealth" type thing, where say warring factions can be made to be stronger closer to their strongholds, and weaker further away. I have no plans to make that happen just yet, but it was something that occurred to me, that it would be useful to have said EZ settings available for manipulation. Depends on the follower..I recently have found that If I give Cait fully upgraded armor + fully weaved underarmor , she ( he in my modded game) almost never dies( falls down) even though I only gave her a good knife from the Nuka World. But that`s not a option for my favorite Valentine. I like the idea of terminator following me, hope it`s still there and that he has lots of health and makes LOTS of damage . I was looking for something thrilling to make me run through the whole map :D . I never used the original mod, I`m often trying to avoid fights as higher levels, It just getting boring with time. But it sounds really promising , I`ve got a wish to try this. Happy to know if I was able to help in any way. Thanks for your efforts and all the hard work SMB92. I'm one of the ones that was helping to test out the Mod, the Terminators work fine, in my version I tweaked them to give them the same stats as maxed out X-01 power armor for Heath, DR and ER stats, you would need heavy weapons to deal with them with the way I had them tweaked. Did I mention they run after you? :-OI recommend the PTRS-41 Russian anti tank rifle and the new RPG-7 mod, also the personal jetpack mod and/or driveable motorcycles to get you away from them if need be. Thank you for your answer and advice, sounds awesome! I always wanted to roleplay Sarah Connor :) I already have the drivable motocycle mod, though maybe need to get some good weapons.
