Hey, thanks for directing me to this thread! I'll go ahead and post something in the voice actors category.

Screen-name: Gargoreis (or Giramor, doesn't matter which)

General information: American male, twenty years of age. No prior training whatsoever.

Demo-reel: http://youtu.be/q5fbg_-n9Eo A few lines in action, which I wrote for the purpose of this thread.

Accents: American (gruff), British (lower/upper classes), Irish/Scottish (sort of), Australian (sort of!), and that bloody khajiit.

Hello everyone,

Jay33721 directed me here. My mod page is at the link below. There you will find the mod and a Microsoft Word file with all the lines and a brief outline of each character.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8429

Guidelines:

-Make Sure You're Going to Complete the Project: I'm reasonably sure I'm going to get at least 40 NPCs, although I'm not sure how quickly I will reach that number(it depends on how much real life work I have). The goal is 100. But since each NPC isn't part of a quest or some overarching story, and simply for immersion, technically I could quit now and the mod would still be "complete."

- Guidelines for Posting Auditions: My email is [email protected]. I know, real original, just right off the birth certificate. One of these days I will need a pseudonym. I'm thinking "Chaz." In any case, samples can be sent via email or on Nexus. Just one or two samples per character is fine.

- Lines: The script on my mod page has brief character descriptions of all the parts OPEN PARTS ONLY, as well as basic voice requirements(male, old, etc). The lines are just all the lines without any indication of how the conversation branches, but is fairly self-explanatory. At least to me.

- Deadline: Yeah, this one doesn't really apply right now, considering the lack of exposure the mod has gotten, and so there hasn't been much competition for roles. Yet. There was one instance where 2 people auditioned for an Argonian Serial Killer, and I ended up choosing one guy and writing a different part for the other(Salty-Throat, the Argonian Pirate). Basically, if you can act, and your sound quality is good, there is room for you. As for time, I usually get back to people pretty quick. Too quick. I will flood your inbox with inane missives. I am a serial e-mailer. Which is much better than a serial killer, unless reading causes death. In which case I suggest you run to the hospital right now after reading this wall of text.

I'd be interesting in trying out some voice acting for helping modders.

I'm male, 30 and have a very strong Yorkshire accent (think - Sean Bean) (seems there are quite a few actors in Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings having similar accents). I think maybe the accent seems fitting but different from Vanilla voices in Skyrim.

I've never done any voice acting before but I'd definitely be happy to give it a go, so I'll see about reading a few scripts from Skyrim and posting some clips here, maybe some modders may be interested.

I make music for a hobby and have a home studio with proper equipment, I have a high quality condenser microphone, which if needed - I can record at 24-bit \ 96.000 Khz.

Hello ,

I need some Voice Actors for a new project I am doing , I am at quest design stage for Issgard , the project it still onthe long road but I have posted a lot of progress in this forum thread ...

I am interested on some NPC voice acting

For the first stage of my quest making ( I am still noob quest and script maker but I am learning my way up )

In particular :

Asgeir the All wise( 50 + ys old man tough , Chief of Dreng warrior circle )

Olvir White Bear ( 40 + Old man , warrior and Drengr Champion second in command to Asgeir )

Thorgeir Sledgehammer ( 35+ Old man Warrior , Big , tough , strong Drengr Warrior )

Jora Finehair( 28 + Old woman , Strong , resolute archer Drengr warrior )

Glaedir Seafarer ( 29 + Old man , quick , normal voice Drengr Warrior )

Those are for a main quest part ...

I do not need to fill all the roles , even just Asgeir woudl be fine for now as I do not have much text yet for the others , but I may add in future ... coudl fill in as roles of Default nord warrior strong , Default nord warrior normal

Other important NPCs to come in next quest stages will be King Osric , A witch , a Princess , and the King Advisor ... other may be developed along the quest development ...

Dragon also but that I will do :) ...

Half-Goat Studios presents...

SMQOLogoSmall.jpg

Skyrim Main Quest Overhaul

Project Leader: B.E Hughes

Casting Director: The Commoner Prince

Half-Goat Studios Website: www.thecommonerprince.org

"The Skyrim Main Quest Overhaul is a mod project dedicated to improving the dramatic pacing, character development, and dialogue of Skyrim’s central questline to create a more immersive and interactive experience.

The Elder Scrolls games have always been known for their vast, immersive worlds, open-ended gameplay, and gripping storylines. Skyrim’s central plot, while fun and engaging, feels short, underdeveloped, and overly linear in the context of this huge and epic franchise. It unfolds with manic urgency, thrusting the player into the dragon crisis without giving any opportunity to explore and engage Bethesda’s massive, beautifully constructed world. This mod aims to expand the main quest with more dialogue, more choices, and diverging storylines, as well as all-new quests, characters, and challenges.

With the Skyrim Main Quest Overhaul, your journey from ill-fated prisoner to hero of prophecy will no longer be a meteoric rise to godhood, but rather a hard-fought battle filled with choices, consequences, victories, and defeats. You will encounter compelling, multidimensional characters, both friend and foe, who will guide you to glory or test your mettle. Go boldly towards your destiny or deny it outright; the choice is yours. Should you accept your fate, you will learn the true meaning of Dovahkiin."

- B.E Hughes

Hi, I'm yazul and I'm interested on voice acting. I've dubbed a few projects before. Currently using a MXL006 and Sound Forge 9.0 (experienced). I'm also a singer.

Here's my current demo reel: http://soundcloud.com/la-s-a-alves/tes-voices

Vocal Range: mezzo to soprano

Accents:

I'm actually not a native english speaker (brazilian) so I can't emulate american, british, aussie accents perfectly at all, but maybe that might be a good thing if you're interested on an unique accent. :P
