VikingPrince
Was installing some mods, ran across a mention of Wyrmstooth. Translations are there, but no original. One of the translations mentions the author of the original mod is jonx0r, and nothing turns up in his name on a search. Am I missing something? protoculturejunkie
Wyrmstooth was pulled by its author about a year ago now. Look around here and at the Steam Workshop and you may find someone willing to send it to you.

I don't even know anything about the mod, I just saw it as an option for Realistic Water Two and looked it up. Anybody know the story about why jonx0r pulled it? protoculturejunkie
IIRC, he said modding was getting in the way of his life or something.
VikingPrince
IIRC, he said modding was getting in the way of his life or something. Huh. I can understand stopping modding for that reason, but pulling his mods sounds unusual.
barcharcraz
It appears he has uploaded his mods to archive.org. Not sure it's really him though
VanKrill
He may have ran afoul of some of the Nexus rules and was forced to pull his mods. It happens fairly often, from what I've read. One of the reasons I've never tried to post any of my mods here, but only use other distribution forums. Nexus has allot of good things about it, but if you accidentally get on their wrong side, the word is, they can be vindictive. -

It's easy to avoid getting in trouble, or banned, as long as you follow the rules. The Nexus is generally a fair place, and people that are banned are banned for a reason. I wouldn't call that "vindictive" at all. The other poster is correct though, the Mod Author in question quit modding because of personal reasons. They were not banned. They basically purged all of their mods so to get it out of their life.
