Xenobuzz
Hey, all! I'm at the Ranch House in Springvale that's a new DC Interior. I've activated Archive Invalidation Invalidated, and have checked to see that my other mod textures are working. However, try as I might, I'm still getting random textures on the Cigarette carton inside this house. I've tried re-installing all the mods, loading the save outside the door, activated the Standard mode through the Pip-Boy before I've entered the house but still no dice. I deleted the DLC merged patch for WYB because I don't think that it's necessary (I hope I didn't irrevocably screw things up by doing that! I had this problem before and re-installing fixed the problem although I can't recall why! I deleted almost all of my previous saves from the old PC so that I could start the game over with all the new textures. I did quite a bit of flailing trying to get this mod to work, so I may need to do a complete deletion of it and start over. Should I just start over? anb2004
happen with the cigarette carton only ? using any cigarette texture replacer ? to be sure, you need to find out if that cigarette cartoon are comes from DC Interior mod (included) or is it comes from vanilla.. the easiest method for me is locate the cigarette cartoon mesh (nif) and fix the texture path correctly with nifskope.. M48A5
If you have not changed your load order since you provided it above, the first thing to do is move the PlasmaRifleAwesomefied.esp out of the .esm order. Than, I suggest you get a copy of B.O.S.S., install it and run it to make sure your load order is correct. Than get a copy of FO3Edit and check for conflicts and create a merged patch with it. That Load Order is my most recent one. The one I had on my old machine was different, but I used the BOSS auto sort feature in FOMM to get this one. I was surprised that it was so different from my previous one. WYB worked on the old machine, and I'm sure it can work on this one. It's just a matter of recreating the same conditions, and I'm afraid I may have installed or deleted something that changed a setting somewhere. I'll try BOSS and FO3edit, thanks! Dave S. For example: "WYB-TEST-Fairfax.esp" is all the way at the bottom, but the Remastered mod, along with all of it's plugins should always be loaded last. On that note, lets clean up your load order a bit. See spoiler. Xenobuzz
Allright! After getting distracted by another game, I'm back and ready for troubleshooting! I adjusted my Load Order accordingly. I also re-downloaded and re-installed all the WYB files I'd used previously. However, I'm still encountering the same random texture issue. I'm wondering if it may have something to do with the save game that I'm using? Should I start from an earlier point, like before I leave the Vault? I'm not sure when objects inside interiors get generated, so I'd like to be sure that I'm not seeing any "ghosts" of old files or something. Here's my current Load Order, which I've tested and runs great: [X] Fallout3.esm[X] Anchorage.esm[X] ThePitt.esm[X] StreetLights.esm[X] BrokenSteel.esm[X] PointLookout.esm[X] Zeta.esm[X] Mart's Mutant Mod.esm[X] Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow.esm[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather.esm[X] DCInteriors_ComboEdition.esm[X] WYB.esm[X] PlasmaRifleAwesomefied.esp[X] GNR Enhanced.esp[X] Laurens_Bathroom_poetry_V1.esp[X] DCInteriors_DLC_Collectables.esp[ ] Greenerworld.esp[X] CPAR - Cheezy Poofs and Rations.esp[X] poolballs.esp[X] schematics2.esp[X] WYB-Base.esp[X] WYB-DLC-Anchorage.esp[X] WYB-DLC-ThePitt.esp[X] WYB-DLC-BrokenSteel.esp[X] WYB-DLC-PointLookout.esp[X] WYB-DLC-Zeta.esp[X] WYB-MOD-DCInteriors_Combo v2.6+.esp[X] WYB-OPT-WhiteCigarette.esp[X] WYB-OPT-DynamicReplacer.esp[X] WYB-TEST-Fairfax.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp[X] Fellout-pipboylight.esp[X] Fellout-Full.esp[ ] Night Vision Sunglasses.esp[X] Fellout-Anchorage.esp[X] Fellout-BrokenSteel.esp[X] Fellout-PointLookout.esp[X] Fellout-Zeta.esp[X] Xepha's Darkened Interiors.esp[X] Xepha's Darkened Interiors - OA.esp[X] Xepha's Darkened Interiors - BS.esp[X] Xepha's Darkened Interiors - PL.esp[X] Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow in Fallout.esp[X] Enhanced Weather - Radioactive Rain and Snow Plugin.esp[X] Enhanced Weather - Weather Sounds in Interiors.esp[X] Enhanced Weather - Sneak Bonus during Storms.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Main.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Anchorage.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - The Pitt.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Broken Steel.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Point Lookout.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Night Eye Edition.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Rain (NEE).esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Rain.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Sandstorm.esp[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Dynamic Sneak Bonus.esp[X] Fallout Remastered.esp[ ] Fallout Remastered - MMM + EVE (PI Merge).esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Mart's Mutants Mod.esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Fellout.esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Xepha's Dynamic Weather.esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Xepha's Darkened Interiors.esp[X] M61FGR.esp[X] silencedsniperrifle.esp[ ] silencedsniperrifle(thinnerlonger).esp[X] Moon.esp Thanks for all your help! M48A5
Here is something you can try, de-activate ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! and close FOMM. Re-open FOMM and acitvate ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! and close FOMM. Re-open FOMM and start the game.
BlackRampage
I'm wondering if it may have something to do with the save game that I'm using? Should I start from an earlier point, like before I leave the Vault? I'm not sure when objects inside interiors get generated, so I'd like to be sure that I'm not seeing any "ghosts" of old files or something. No, it's got nothing to do with a previous save or anything. The game simply can't find the textures. Even starting a new game won't remedy that. You've got this mod, don't you? Whats YOUR Brand Enhanced - WYBEThat's where you should find the cause of your problem. It would seem that despite the fact that you've got this plugin: "[X] WYB-MOD-DCInteriors_Combo v2.6+.esp", WYB and DC interiors are still incompatible with each other. I can't be bothered reading all of it, but this thread might hold a solution to your problem: Link to thread Errr I actually also kinda screwed up in my previous post on this thread. The load order part. I told you to deactivate and delete this plugin: [X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Anchorage (NEE).espBut the plugin you should have deleted is this one: [X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Rain.esp So that means you have to put "[X] Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Anchorage (NEE).esp" back in. Sorry 'bout that. [X] M61FGR.esp[X] silencedsniperrifle.esp[ ] silencedsniperrifle(thinnerlonger).esp[X] Moon.espThese are all loaded behind Remastered and it's plugins. Don't ever put mods behind Remastered or it's plugins.Put them right behind the Marts Mutant Mod plugins instead. Edit: Oh, and delete "Fallout Remastered - MMM + EVE (PI Merge).esp" too. No EVE, no patch needed. Edited February 21, 2012 by BlackRampage
