ROBERT5103 Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 system windows 10 home, CPU i7-6700 @3.40GHZ, Ram 48GB, OS 64Bit GC MSI Radeon RX 470 8GB I had loot running in mod organizer but steam crashed and needed an update. Updated steam reinstalled loot now my firewall treating loot as virus set up unable to create the directory C:\user\robert\desktop\skyrimmod\steam error code 5 access denied. uninstalled & reinstalled the same problem is still happening. file location C:\Users\robert\Desktop\skyrimmod\steam1\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\LOOT v0.11.0 - Installer-1918-0-11-0,i put the file in 4 different locations.I hope that the problem is something that is simple, or I am missing a step somewhere.Any and all help is appreciated thank youRobert 5103 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

C:\UsersC:\Program Files And Folders Those are system protected Environments. Choose C:\games or D:\games or Even C:\Steam. Keep things off of that desktop.
