Hmmm. How curious. I doubt it has anything to do with your language version.

But anyway, I found this thread in the discussions tab of the FWE mod.

This post in particular seems like it may hint at a possible solution to your problem.

As Prensa always says: Hope this helps!

edit: oh and i´ve a little off topic question. BOSS sorts the streetlights.esm between ThePitt.esm and BrokenSteel.esm.

but shouldn´t it loaded after the dlc´s?

Nope, if it were any other mod, you'd be right. But Streetlights.esm is fine where it is.

I'll just chime in here real fast, Manoroc did you install your FWE through the nexus mod manager? Cause I did.

Just looking for some additional commonalities between us in how we both came to these texture problems.

Also let me know if the re-install did any thing, I'm quite interested to see if that solved the texture crawling problems for you.

@Manoroc so let me get this stright you followed this process and its now working:

  1. download mod.
  2. make new folder call it whatever you want (example: fwe).
  3. open fwe rar file part 1 and extract to new folder do the same for part 2 overwriting anything that it asks you to.
  4. open fomm go to package manager click on little arrow next to open fomod and click creat from folder point it to new folder click open and let it run afterwards just activate/install as normal.

Original Post from other forum where they talked about what worked:

"Hi people,I made an account just to post this finding:

The two files that you have to download from the nexus (FWE Master Release 6-0 - Part 1 and FWE Master Release 6-0 - Part 2) dont open like a normal split archive in rar,you have to extratct the first one them the second one in the same folder overwriting.

The folder will have 1,09GIG ,after that you open the fallout mod manager,go to pacakage manager and in the first button were it says "Add Fomod" you click on the down arrow an put "Create From Folder",them you just find the 1,09GIG folder and let it do the fomod(it will be a 364mb or so file).

after step 3 i also extrected the hotfix to the folder overwriting anything, and then i repacked it again to an rar file cause fomm couldn´t do anything with the folder.

then i installed it with fomm and all worked fine for me no texture buggs anymore.

i just had fwe installed at that time so surely i deleted it, but i´m nearly sure it will also work with a not clean version.

hope it will work for you too

Textures working! Thank you!

Note in the below process I used winRar as the file extractor and compressor:

Link to the winRar download page

The process that I followed in detail to get the texture crawling to stop:

1) Backup save games and INI files

2) Use uninstaller to remove game completely

2) Reinstall game and DLC

3) Run FOMM and and the boss auto sorter to get this part all the basic elements working

4) Test the game.

5) Download FWE parts 1 and 2 plus the hot patch (Link: link to the FWE download page)

6) Save all the RAR files that your downloading from the nexus in to one bigger folder (mine was named "fwe")

7) Starting with part 1, right click on the part one file and use the "Extract Here" command with winRar.

8 ) When part one is done and the contents are all unpacked into your fwe folder then use the "Extract Here" command with part 2. Note about 90-95% done with part 2 extraction process you will be given the options to over-wright some files that were unpacked with part one. I did "Yes to all" and the extraction process finished up promptly after that.

9) Finally extract the hot fix file using the "Extract Here" command. As with part 2 before it, you will be asked to over-wright some files I selected "Yes to all" once again.

10) Now select all the non-compressed files that are in your folder, right click and select the "Add to fwe.rar" command:

11) Now open up fallout mod manager.

12) Turn on archive invalidation inside FOMM

13) And then use the Package Manager command to your right.

14) Use the Add FOMod command

15) Locate your newly created "fwe.rar" on your PC

16) Add it.

17) Turing it on and install as you would FWE normally.

18) Your good to go! Load your save games and mods again as you see fit!

Big ups to: Manoroc, BlackRampage, for taking me by the hand during this whole process!
