OnyxNightBlack
I played that mod some time ago and I remember that almost every quest could be solved by either finding a hidden switch (Usually a brick you can see when you have a torch equipped) or by finding several items. Though I am not sure anymore which quest exactly was the second one. Thge advice bben46 gave you is sound though, the thread provides solutions to any possible problem you might have. If I remember correctly, there is even something like a decent walkthrough posted. Just be sure to watch out for the blackened out parts, those usually contain spoilers, so solutions for your problem. Good luck, it's an awesome mod. bben46
The first clue is found up near the top of the hill above the cave across from the castle gate. Look out of the gate toward the cave, then about 15 degrees to the right. You won't be able to see anything from there, you must go up there and look. Look for a dead body in the bushes near a big rock. The clue, 2 of them actually are a note and a dagger. Take both and go see Yilgar with them. They will not be there until after Yilgar has told you his friends are overdue and asks you to look for them along the road - the body is nowhere near the road. Don't get discouraged, the castle is worth the hassle. Pulled from the Glenvar Castle thread, by Quartz, the author - Dated 4-23-08Now as for the start of the quest's second part. Here are the conditions: 1. Make sure the first part of the quest is completely finished. This includes hiring the repair crew and all the available NPC's at the employment agency in the Inn of Ill Omen. You'll see when the first quest is finished when you get a journal update stating you've hired all the NPC's and it's time to go and relax in the castle. At that moment the first quest will also disappear from your character's active quest list. 2. After completing part 1, you normally fasttravel to the castle. The area where you "land" in the courtyard contains an invisible activator which will start the countdown (3 ingame days) for the second part of the quest. If one does not fasttravel to the castle (some mods disable that ability), the countdown will still start the first time you walk from the castle door (entrance main hall) to the obelisk in the center of the courtyard. 3. The guard Ylgar will give you the information to start that second part. He'll talk to you about it only when he's on duty (between 8 am and 19 pm) near the front gate. Have fun, Quartz By SydneyB, dated 4-19-08 the clues are rather far from the road. Concentrate on the area between the castle, the Inn, Hircin'e Shrine and the Charcoal cave If you need more helpsearch near the top of the hill that is south of the charcoal cave and east of Hircine's shrine. When you are near the spot where the clues are, a message will pop up telling you to search that area carefully. Some of these clues are blacked out. to read them hold down your left mouse button and move your cursor over them.

I'm just a 12 year old helping my mom and I can some times get a little mad easy especially when someone doesn't get to the point. Any ways i'm sorry. bben46
No need to be sorry. The first time I gave a little hint. When that wasn't enough, I gave you the full monty. Most people don't want it completely spelled out, just a little hint to get started. I try not to give too much info as that spoils the fun of finding it yourself. jojo man
Hey man, I'm one of the ones who frequents the Glenvar castle mod thread. I manage to help out most anybody with questions regarding gameplay(though technical issues aren't really my cup of tea). If you've got anymore questions, posting them Here, will probably get you results faster than anything else. Hope this helps.

Elimae221, if you just get near enough the point where these famous clues are, a popup will showup screaming "I'm here somewhere near" or something like this. The important fact to be extracted from the information bben46 so gently searched and graciously gave to you is: Seems there is no compass pointing to it. Also they will be there only if the prerequisites are met. So, if you could not find the clues, being there where they are supposed to be... so there is a big chance they being not yet 'enabled', better saying, there is something you will need to do, yet, before they will be placed there.
