JewBagel1942 Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 So I use to have NMM on my old machine that a tech savvy friend helped me install and I just got a new laptop but don't have access to the same person that helped me set up NMM the first time. My issue isn't downloading NMM or getting it running but rather the other programs/files that help NMM like skse script extender, winrar, and 7zip. I think I either installed them improperly, put them in the wrong location, don't have the correct pathways (still no idea what that's about) or missed some steps. ymf331 Posted May 26, 2017 Share Posted May 26, 2017 in my opinion, mod organizer is a lot better than nmm. 7zip... you run the installer and it should work just fine. for skse, i recommend the archive version. for me, everything except the 'scripts' directory goes into the game directory (skyrim, not data) after extracting it, and i install 'scripts' as a mod in mo.
