DrumlinePro
So this started about 3 days ago when the ctd's started. At first, I thought it was due to overexerting FO4, but after I looked at the clock I noticed the time. Here's what I have done so far:- Disabled all my mods in my load order in Mod Organizer- Verified integrity of game cache- Deleted the Data folder and reinstalled it (I thought the night-sky textures were corrupted or something) Note: The game was crashing earlier than 8 PM when using True Storms' early sunset, however, I didn't get the time it crashed. I know for a fact it has to do with the night cycle, as I have used the command "set timescale to 0" to freeze time to test and lo and behold, I wouldn't crash when I'd crash on an earlier save. It started after I stopped using FROST Survival Simulator, so maybe that has something to do with it if someone has had a similar problem after using FROST. Appreciate any info
TheSpaceShuttleChallenger
It's just a hunch, but there's a possibility that FROST overwrote one of True Storm's files. Make sure you have True Storms uninstalled in-game (I think it has configuration holotapes, but you should also check the chem workbench to see if there is an uninstaller there as well) as there are scripts that will keep on running even after the .esp has been disabled. Then, if that resolves the problem, it's probably safe to redownload and reinstall True Storms.
DrumlinePro
I can't find any other way of uninstalling True Storms other than disabling the .esp. Should I just leave it uninstalled and let the scripts run their course? Also, I failed to mention this in the OP, but my game doesn't crash within interiors that have no lighting effected by outside. This means being in areas like Vault 95 or Hancock's store room where you get the Ashmaker after 8 PM won't crash my game because I assume the ambient lighting inside isn't affected by the outside time. MightyZ0G
you need to reinstall True Storms so you can deactivate it in game before disabling/removing the .esp this is from the True Storms FAQ UNINSTALL PROCEDURE.Sad to see you go! This is safe to remove at any time, but you'll have to do things in the right order or loading your save might crash.• Load up the last save where True Storms was active• Go into an interior• Use the True Storms Configuration holotape to TURN OFF TRUE STORMS EFFECTS. This is critical!• Save the game• Exit the game• Uninstall True Storms• Load up the save you just made, ignoring any warnings about missing plugins• If the game loads fine, save one more time, and load this save going forward to progress your game. Loading older saves w/ True Storms still active may have issues or crashes. (This isn't something I can fix, the game does not like having missing spells/effects being removed mid-game.)Cheers!(thanks to DarkDominion for typing this up initially and generally being helpful to people in the Posts section!) Sephrajin
Are you using any 2k or 4k texture mods? I used to experience CTD due to such mods. I do have a decent machine, for my FullHD (1k) screen I have all graphic settings on ultra/highest and only during fog/storm I have like 35 fps (~60 otherwise), probably due to weather mods. Anyhow, just using the 2k moon (or something alike) crashed the game. Hope this helps (Specialy the time 8pm, might indicate something like the moon too)
DrumlinePro
Found it. Turns out Visible Galaxy 4k and Framework was the culprit; I forgot not all mods have .esp 's so I didn't bother checking off the modlist on the first round. Woops

Graslama
copy past from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20442?tab=posts Hello people I searched a long time for my 8 pm -CTD. i had ported this mod to my "masterpatch.esp" and this mod worked for a long time. But onetime i got CTDs at 20 o´clock. so i deleted one entry after another from my masterpatch.esp till i came to the workshop expansion. The CTD was gone instantly. After that i checked against my masterpatch.esp and installed the original expansion mod from here and the CTD at 20 was right back. I still do not understand why this happens because there is only one entry in this mod which overwrites the fallout4.esm respective entry. But this is the cause of the CTD. 0005C2A5 WorkshopSandboxRelaxation20x4 If i remove this entry than the CTD is gone. All other entrys are identical to master. I don't say this mod does not work. It worked for a long time till something unknown happend here on my side. (Fo4update / Mod-update whatever) It was hard to find because there are no conflicts in fo4edit with this mod. This 8pm CTD seems to be very rare so i hope it helps one.
