What are the rules regarding mod commissioning?

You are free to submit a [MOD REQUEST].

What you cannot do is offer to pay anyone for fulfilling it.

(Nor can anyone offer to make mods for pay.)

As soon as money gets involved, so do lawyers!

Yea I know, been in the mod business for some 20 years now, but still hoping things will change at some point, the industry still apparently look at us to fix their mess for free, it's not that bad really, but it sucks when you need to pick up new tool skills and half the people who know how to use them are elitists who talk to you like you are an idiot, this is sadly another one of those things that hasn't changed, add to this that you are getting older and retaining new knowledge becoming increasingly harder, at this stage you just can't help but wish it was possible to commission half this stuff instead

However, having mentioned the elitists, I need to also mention that there are several people who have been more than helpful and friendly and I greatly appreciate that, so it's not a basket completely full of rotten apples

Btw, speaking of older modders, you guys really need an old man emoticon, one with a big grey beard hehe

I feel your pain, Delta. I'm just getting into the modmaking stage to see what can and can't be done and I have to teach myself from the ground up since I haven't found anyone really helpful. I have a background in 3D modeling but yeeearrrs ago, so it's a bit of a hurdle here and there. So happy the Frosty Tools are out though. They look a bit more mod friendly than the previous one!

Yea a lot, still needs some tweaks here and there but it is looking very promising :)

Btw, a good place to get help is Discord https://discordapp.com/channels/296276604211167232/306298054045335562

Here you can talk live with several people including mod creators and mod tool builders including the creator of the Frosty tool ;)
