GowiHasti
When I try to load the mod manager it says 'skyrim.ini is read-only, so it can't be managed by Nexus Mod Manager' What does this mean exactly and what should I do?
M48A5
It means that the skyrim.ini can only be read by the computer and no changes can be made to the .ini file. You should go to the location of the skyrim.ini, right click on skyrim.ini and in the dialog box that opens, left click on properties. When the box opens, look to the bottom for "Attributes". You will see two choices "Read-only" and "Hidden". Left click on the checkmark next to "Read-only", this should remove the checkmark. Now left click "Apply" then "OK". Now exit out of skyrim.ini. This will only work if your skyrim.ini is not in "Program Files". If it is, go on Steam and find how to move it.
