Miamian
Hi guys, I've got some question about NPC's. Maybe you know how to determine the path for an NPC to move from point A to B? I mean something like the very beginning of the game when Hadvar or Ralof are running ahead of us showing us the way, but they are waiting if we get too far from them.I can not find the script that defines it and without it, I can't look how Bethesda have done that. And second thing: How to make the NPC automatically starts talk with us when we are moving near to him? Thanks in advance for your help. PS. Sorry for my English, it is not my main language. I hope you understand everything.
Gamer921
Im thinking this is a ai package not a script. As for the second part u may wana look at instant merchants script. Edited June 7, 2017 by Gamer921
Tasheni
It's the escort package you need. Simply duplicate it and alter it's values. You can define the distance at which your npc will wait for you, if you are not following and the distance the npc will not wait for you anymore, if you are too far away. Notice that this package won't work if you have checked the box "allow riding if possible". Then the npc jumps on his horse and does nothing. agerweb
And npc talking to you would be a forcegreet package. No scripting required for what you want to do.
