Wacky vampirism - please help!

Okay, so I finally decide I'm going to become a vampire. I wander into Nornhalorst and pick a hand-to-hand fight with a vampire Monk. I contract Porphyric Hemophilia, and head back to my Waterfront Shack. I click on the bed to rest a few hours 'til the merchant shops open, but I am instantly interrupted with the first dream message. I've suddenly acquired vampirism! The gained skills, attributes, and spells/abilities match what I should be getting at vamp 25%, but when I go to the magic effects tab in my journal, the number next to "Vampirism" is 100 (my character's eyes also changed).

 

So, I had the Vampire Face Bug Fix enabled. I figured, hey, maybe it is doing something (though it was extremely unlikely!). So, I deactivate it, and load the autosave-before-resting. I save my game, click on the bed to rest, and encounter the same thing as I described in the first paragraph. I'm not running any other vampire mods, and I have the Unofficial Patches (I'll post my load order below).

 

I'm using OBMM, so I ran the New Conflict detector. Since I wasn't sure which mods were interfering with vampirism, I looked at the conflicts in the Unofficial Patch for both Oblivion and SI, because I know from the readme that the Unofficial Oblivion patch fixes some errors with the feed-scripts. I rooted around in the scripts, spells, and a few other categories, but none of it pertained to vampirism nor porphyric hemophilia. In other words, I figured if a mod was affecting vampirism, it might conflict with the Unofficial patch; however, I didn't see any conflicts that looked like they had to do with vampirism.

 

So, in summary: No three-day wait between contracting Porphyric Hemophilia and acquiring Vampirism. My character has the 25% Vamprisim skills/attributes/abilities (that is to say, the lowest level of skill/stat boasts), but the magic effects tab says the vampirism is at 100%.

 

Does anyone have any ideas about what's going on?

I don't know for sure as the only time I turned vampire was a long time ago, first time playing the game, and don't knew yet this would even been possible. But was exactly like you, I just rest and awake vampire, and I had fight some just few hours before. I had no mods, so I think resting before 'curing' is enough to complete the process (need confirmation). I'll be looking this topic as I'm interested in the answer too.
