Ovreagr
So I stopped playing FO4 shortly after Automatron came out. Uninstalled the game, but kept all my save game files and mods. Unfortunately I got the itch to play again! Obviously some of the mods will need updates, but it looks like most don't even though NMM says they do. Around the time I stopped playing I heard that Bethesda had (or was going to) mess up the modding community with their own modding system. Obviously and thankfully that didn't happen as ya'll are still here! However, is there anything I need to know about running mods and plugins via Nexus Mod Manager since Bethesda started "interfering"? I noticed only two plugins are selected in NMM now and I'm not sure why or if enabling any of the others will cause issues now. Also, other than Far Harbor and Nuka-World, are any DLCs worth getting? Is there a mod that does the high resolution better than the DLC version or does everyone just use the official high res pack? Thanks!
2much4l1
I game back after a break also. Had to reinstall and update a few mods, but nothing major. Far Harbor is definitely worth getting and I'm enjoying Ada from Automatron. Haven't touched Nuka World yet.
Deleted631007User
Is there a mod that does the high resolution better than the DLC version or does everyone just use the official high res pack?High rez DLC pack is poorly optimized and it really doesn't look much better. It's also a lousy 55Gb download. Try Vivid Fallout and FlaconOil's HD Retexture Project for most of the environment stuff.
