bluekatt
A looooong time ago I'd played Final Fantasy VI. For anyone who's been under a rock for the last decade, FF games are a series of JRPGs produced mainly for console systems. This was for the Super Nintendo. Anyway, I'd been progressing through the game normally when I encountered a new enemy: the Gold Bear. Now that game had some odd enemies, like Rhobites (which are essentially rabbits sitting on a head of lettuce) but this bear took the cake. For whatever reason, it's scripted to steal your gold then run. And not a little gold either. I mean you get messages like "Gold Bear stole 15798 Gold" and he doesn't even stick around so you can get it back! It's so absurd it's hilarious. That is not for the game itself, instead seems a thing from censorship... in the FF IV (Japan) Rosa (one of the main characters) is tied in a throne with a sharp pendulum above her head. In the FF 2 (US version of FF IV) it was replaced with a big rock meant to crush her... Seems some bright mind thought this way more 'secure' to little ones fantasy sanity. No, don't ask, I really don't understand :) those same minds deemed it neccasary to remove all religious overtones from the gamesor the female enemies from final fight
Carah
I can't remember her name, and I've never see her in Cheydinhaal, ever. A Dark Elf approached me, and asked what the fine was in Cyrodiil for necrophilia. She than proceeded to talk about it being accepted in Morrowind. My choices were "I don't know", or, “I’m not sure, but I think its 500". Okay, I've been playing Oblivion for about a year on XBOX and PC, and I had that only happen to me once, and very recently. She is the owner of an alchemist shop and you'll find her sometimes near a cemetery or something like this around the city. Never discovered what or even if there is something more at this issue. PS: Now I have something to do next time I play... follow her around a bit :)
