Which mod is causing this?

So i came to College Of Winterhold and saw that every woman mage is wearing these skimpy things. Which i like my skimpy armors but this looks hideous. This is a re texture because they are actually wearing apprentice robes, i tried to intall another re texture to get rid of them but it didn't work. So i want to know which mod is causing this.

There is nothing that replacing it but they are wearing highheels so mod should be using HDT.

First of all...you said that the mod in question is a replacer, right? In that case the mod doesnt have an esp file. In other words it doesnt appear in your load order. It simply replaces the mage robe mesh with the custom mesh.

 

Which installation method do you use? Manual? NMM? MO? If it's NMM we would need a list of all installed mods, not just the load order.

Forget what I wrote...I found the culprit.

 

It's Book of UUNP. ( I checked its BSA archives. They contain meshes for archmage and mage robes) Unfortunately if you remove it every NPC who got a robe/armor assigned by it initially when you installed it will end up naked. You can try and go to an inside cell, preferably one without any NPCs. Then save your game. Exit the game and deinstall "Book of UUNP". Load the save you just made and wait/sleep for 31 days. That should reset all NPCs in the game. If you still see nakie people the only option you have is to open your console, click on the NPC in question and type "recycleactor" in the console. However....then it might happen that the NPC is wearing vanilla iron armor instead of robes or whatever and of course you would have to do that for every single NPC who doesnt show correctly. Unfortunately then you would only be able to start over....

 

What puzzles me a bit is how the NPC ended up with high heels though.....so I'm going to write another approach here.

After you downloaded and installed do the following:

 

1. Go to the NPC in question (It's Mirabelle Ervine, right?)

2. Click her and type showinventory in the console

3. You now get a list of things she wears and otherwise has in inventory along with the Base IDs of those items

4. Still in console type "player.additem xxxxxxxxxx 1" replace the X's with the Base ID of the items she wears (You have to use the command more than once)

5. Leave console and open your inventory

6 Look for the item copies you just added to your player character

7. Drop them on the ground

8. Open console again and click on each of the items

9. You can see the name of the esp file the item originates from in the bottom right corner of the screen now (also which mod it was last modified by)

10. If the console tells you the item originates in "Skyrim.esm" then it is caused by a mesh/texture replacer which does not have an esp file like I mentioned above

Well after i knew that it was unnp's work i disabled it.(Even though it has some great armors) And it worked there is no more skimpy mages. If only there was a way to use unnp but without that mage robe retexture.
