Invel's Adventure Shop

Alright, i know i have requested a lot of mods, but this isn't a request, per say, I am working on a Shop called Invel's Adventure shop, it will have two Imperial Merchants, and will replace stonewall shields, It will have an armor, clothing and weapons dealer, and a mage/alchemy dealer. I have the mod set up, but when i test it in game, the leveled items in their vendor chests don't work, meaning - When i reach level, i don't know let's say 40, the armor and weapons dealer won't sell me daedric, they'll still be selling iron, i have tried putting a lot of leveled lists in the vendor chests and even creating my own, but it still won't work, and by the way, yes i was using the "Vendor" leveled lists not the "Loot". I would ask if someone could please help. Oh yeah, it's the same for both vendors.

P.S. - You guys think it is a good idea to convert this to .ESM? I plan on making plug ins for it to make it compatible with such mods as, Ren's Beauty pack (the vendors would be mystic elves), many armor and weapon mods, such as the noble battlemage/plate armors (Very nice armor by the way, if you don't have them you should get them), i also plan on allowing other modders to create mods for it.

 

P.S.S - If you have any suggestions please tell me and I'll see what i can do

You guys sometimes scares me :) what you means by replacing a vanilla shop? I can't say anything more until I confirm this meaning.

not exactly replacing it, more of just removing viator accius from stonewall shields (Which i always found a pointless shop, i never visited it), adding his AI packages to one of the new merchants and rearranging stuff in the shop, that is what i mean (i am transfering the AI packages for quests that may be related to him, etc...)

Well, i don't have to replace any shop, if you don't want me too. I could just add a shop, you know drop a door in and put it in the market district wall, i saw a shop like that before, and it was pretty nice. It is just easier for me to do my first idea

I never used stonewall shields, but there aren't that many other vendors for sheilds so add some to slash and smash or that armor shop.

Like the idea of this. As an idea for a plugin: Apply for a job.

Well, i wouldn't need to add shields anywhere else, because the armor and weapons merchant would use the same chest that is already in there, i would just be adding stuff to it. i could still add some shields elsewhere, just in case. And what did you mean by the plugin remark?

Think, Why remove a vanilla NPC? you ever though someone else would not use him?

 

friend, your mod is already conflicting, killing, Nightshade Armor mod... and how you are doing this, seems, for not even thinking the troubles your mod can and IS causing, how I can trust it?

 

If you are really thinking to mod, avoid touching even the 'normal' vendor chest, create your own chest to him. And NEVER MORE, think in deleting vanilla NPCs, or your mod is condemned before even being born.

 

Edit: Of course you yet think in turning it in ESM :down:

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll let you know when i am done, and if you have anymore suggestions, please tell me, I want people to see what THEY want in my mods, not only what i want.

 

BTW: Anyone know where i can get a good blank shop sign texture, so i can create the shop's sign (obviously)

Or you can use the Stonewall shield as well as you thought at first, since you don't change things badly there it's not problem at all. Alternatively you can verify unused spaces in the Waterfront district (I know for sure Apachii has a goddess shop there, but seems to exist some others spaces free).

 

Creating new cells is ever a risky thing, but sometimes is inevitable to the idea, so proceeding with care and searching for unused areas is aways a must do.

 

As examples: Midas Spells of Aurum itself took a big part of the exterior area of the Arcane university, and Giscard (author of Kvatch Aftermath) placed a whole underworld there with the 'Origins of the mage's guild mod' and is working a big deal in the Emperor way, and caring conflicting the less possible with existent and possible mods.

 

Sorry if I seem harsh before, but you was going into a path that would seriously harm your mod and menacing your credibility as modder. I really hope your mod coming soon, and in the right way.
